Vinyl Windows

Windows made from vinyl are strong and provide very good energy savings. They are available in a wide range of styles and shapes and have become the mainstream choice in today’s market. They provide the best “bang for the buck” while meeting the current energy tax credit criteria.

Vinyl windows are extremely energy efficient. What this means is if it's cold outside the vinyl does a good job of resisting the heat inside your home from being transferred to the outside. Conversely, if you are in a hot area, and are expending money keeping your home cool, vinyl will perform well by keeping that heat out, and the cool in.

The downside to vinyl is that there is a limitation on color selection without paying more. Painting colors are now available with 15 year warranty on paint against fading, cracking or chipping.

Composite Windows

The new Fibrex composite windows and patio doors have colors that won’t fade, flake, blister or peel. So if you’re looking for an affordable, low-maintenance window with dark exterior color options and a beautiful white interior, then you’ve found it.

Other windows rarely feature dark colors, because other frames can deteriorate when exposed to the intense heat of the sun which can cause cracks, bowing and leakage of air and water. Not Fibrex!

Fibrex composite windows have the strength of wood and the low-maintenance and low cost of Premium vinyl.
Composite windows also have glued corners allowing for very clean joints.

The downside to composite is the limited sizing for special shapes and limited color selection on interior colors.

Fiberglass Windows

Fiberglass windows are constructed out of fiberglass cloth and epoxy resins, similar to modern boat construction techniques. This results in a smooth, strong finish that can be painted if the home owner eventually decides they wish to do so. Fiberglass is the strongest frame material on the market today. Fiberglass windows lend themselves to larger openings due to greater strength and stiffness properties than other frame materials.

The downside to fiberglass is cost and limited sizing for special shapes.

Wood Windows

Producing higher R-values, wood windows are unaffected by temperature extremes, and are less prone to condensation, but they require more maintenance in the form of periodic painting.

Most of the wood windows sold, for replacement purposes, are actually, clad windows. What this means is the window has been covered, on the exterior only, with a material that is usually either vinyl or aluminum. The reason for this is to reduce the amount of maintenance needed to keep the exterior of the window in good shape.

Replacement windows made of wood are a very popular choice of material. Many consumers prefer the aesthetic look of wood windows for the interior of their homes. The downside to wood is cost, maintenance required and limited warranty.

Aluminum Windows

Though ideal for customized window design, aluminum frames are not as energy efficient as vinyl or wood and they do not rust and do a great job of resisting weather.

Aluminum windows are very strong are therefore good for commercial projects, oversized windows, and odd-shaped window applications.

Aluminum windows need very little maintenance in order to maintain peak performance.

Downside for aluminum windows is that they do not meet energy tax credit criteria.

New Construction Windows

A new construction window has a flange running around the perimeter of the window frame which is nailed or screwed to the house framing.

Then the house siding, bricks, stucco or other permanent covering is placed over the flange so it's concealed.

Replacement windows are designed to fit inside your existing nailed-in window frame once your original windows are removed from their frames. This makes for a very neat, simple and clean installation.

New construction windows are made to a set of ‘standard’ sizes which will rarely fit a replacement opening properly but are designed for the most common sizes used in new home construction.

VividColor Exteriors

The VividColor™ System is designed to help our clients express their unique style through color. When shopping for vinyl windows and doors, consumers will come upon the standard offerings of white and tan. While these colors may work with many different exterior color selections, they are limiting.

We offer 10 standard colors - far more than the typical standard color set provided by vinyl topcoat providers.

More than standard colors, the technology supporting the VividColor™ System allows us to work with you to provide custom color options of your choosing. We can create vinyl coatings that match your individual decor, creating a complete and custom exterior finish.

Decorative and Block Windows

Glass block windows bring luxurious looks and privacy to your home. Choose from a wide selection of products ranging from picture windows, radius tops, casements, awnings, single-hung and slider windows to interior block panels, partitions and shutters.

Decorative glass windows offer a unique look for windows and are often energy-efficient in addition to providing interesting wall décor. The most popular place for decorative glass windows is as part of a glass door window.

Glass Replacement

Fogged or broken insulated Glass? Look no further.

Brennan Enterprises has the solution!

A foggy window is a result of the insulating spacer around the perimeter of the glass breaking down and allowing moisture in-between the glass permanently discoloring the glass package often giving a “foggy” appearance.

There are several options you have in curing foggy glass.
